We recently purchased a very solid and low mileage 1997 Mercedes Benz SL320. A cracking car with only 69,000 miles from new, and known to us for some years, via our sister company Prestige Car Service. We knew she was a solid car with a great low mileage engine, but it was somewhat let down by its general appearance, the previous owner had left the car outside for sometime due to a gearbox issue (now resolved following a complete rebuild by PCS), resulting in the paint suffering from some scratches from some bushes, and a few stubburn avian deposits!
This car is now mechanically sound and ready for the forthcoming summer, and as of writing (early January) PBY is now in the spray booth for a much needed new coat of Tansanite Blue paint, as can be seen from the above image, all the brightwork, light clusters, and other body fittings have been removed, the bodywork thoroughly preped and ready for painting.
